Director of the Maribor Public LibraryWe worked with Maja in 2006, when she helped us design a core competence model for employees at the Maribor Public Library. At that time, we already had in place a quality management system according to the ISO 9001 standard, and spent a great deal of time addressing the organisational culture. Our aim was to further strengthen the culture, and working with an experienced expert such as Maja helped us tremendously in that regard. We put the entire project to define and establish key competences into effect through dynamic dialogue with all key employees, including trade union representatives. Based on the core competence model, we began conducting annual performance appraisal and personal development reviews in practice, even before this became mandatory for all civil servants. Through the organisation of numerous, high-quality training events and workshops, Maja helped managers and their subordinates understand the importance of a contemporary approach to the management and development of employees. Our work with her remains one of our most pleasant memories! -
